- Can you install this product for me?

To upgrade Waterwheel Website Publisher to an new release (e.g. 4.5.0 to 4.5.1) contact support for a link to download the zip file containing the update. - Which WYSIWYG HTML editor does this product use?
We use TinyMCE by Moxicode. It's a great open source WYSIWYG HTML editor which is extremely stable and reliable. It's cross browser, XHTML compatible and has a whole host of great features. - Is there a maximum number of content types or content items that I can create?
No. You can create an unlimited amount of content types and items based on those content types, regardless of which edition you purchase. - Can I add Google Adsense (and other ads) to my Waterwheel Website Publisher site?
Yes. Waterwheel Website Publisher supports any and all third party advertising and analytics packages on the market. To add support for Google AdWords, login to your website's control panel and choose the Design -> Website Layout menu option.
Choose the page where you want the Google AdSense ads to appear and drag a HTML content block to that section from the menu on the left. When the popup window appears, paste in the HTML code from Google Adsense and click save. That's all there is to it. - Can Waterwheel Website Publisher be easily translated into various languages?
Yes, Waterwheel Website Publisher contains a folder called language/en-US which contains all of the language files used inside the application.These files can be edited in any text editor. - I want to switch from another CMS to Waterwheel Website Publisher. Can I import my data?
At the moment it's possible to import data from Waterwheel Website Publisher 4.5 and earlier, however we are currently working on importers for Wordpress, Joomla and other content management systems. - Can I use a license of Waterwheel Website Publisher on more than one website?
Each license of Waterwheel Website Publisher can only be used on one website. You will need to purchase an additional license to use Waterwheel Website Publisher on another website. - Can I suggest new features?
Absolutely, We love customer input, ideas, and suggestions. Please feel free to contact support with any sugestions or questions. - Can I have an additional license key for our test server before going live?
Yes. We understand the staging process involved when developing a website for a client or on behalf of your company and our licensing system accomodates this. Simply generate your initial license for your test server, then contact support for the new key when you are ready to move to production. - Is there a time-limited or other type of trial I can download?
Due to the nature of the product, we cannot offer trial versions. We do however have an online demo, and we offer a 60 day, 100% Money back gaurantee, so if you do have any problems or concerns, please contact support. - How often are product updates released?
Product updates (which include bug fixes) are generally released every 4-8 weeks. Product upgrades (which include new features) are generally released every 2-6 months. When you purchase an Waterwheel product, you are entitled to free product updates (bug fixes) for a certain period, depending on the product purchased. After this you can optionally pay to extend your maintenance period. Please see each product's pricing page for more information - Is this installed on my web server?
Yes, all Waterwheel products are installed directly on your web server, which means no monthly fees and no transaction, email fees etc. Each product has a simple step by step installation process, or we can install it for you.
Waterwheel products can be installed on virtually any web hosting account and do not require a dedicated server. - Does Waterwheel Website Publisher support other languages?
Yes, Waterwheel Website Publisher has in built support for changing character set information via the settings page. If you don't see this in your settings page, it means you'll need to upgrade to a newer version of Waterwheel Website Publisher. - I get an error Internal Server Error when trying to view my website
This error is most commonly caused by something inside the .htaccess file. If a server has restrictions on what you can have in the file and it detects something it doesn't like, it'll throw a "500 error" or "Internal Server Error". The best way to troubleshoot this is to take sections out of the file to see what might be causing the error. - I've changed my templates for Waterwheel Website Publisher, but my site isn't showing the change.
This is most likely because you have cache turned on in Waterwheel Website Publisher. To clear the cache, or turn it off, login to your control panel and go to the Settings Page. Click on the 'Misc Settings' tab and scroll down until you see the 'Cache Settings' option. Uncheck the option and click 'Save'. Now refresh your website and your changes should be visible. - Can I add Waterwheel Website Publisher to an existing website?
Yes, Waterwheel Website Publisher can be run as a standalone application to run your entire website, or you can install it and integrate it into your existing website.
When installing the application, you have a choice of either installing in the root of your web folder, or in a directory. If you choose to install in the root of the web folder, then Waterwheel Website Publisher will run your entire website. If you install in a sub folder / directory then you will be able to link to your Waterwheel Website Publisher installation from your existing website. You can then modify the look and feel of your Waterwheel Website Publisher installation to match your existing website look and feel, seamlessly integrating the two. - Can I use Waterwheel Website Publisher to run my entire website?
Yes, Waterwheel Website Publisher can be used to run and manage an entire website as it allows you to create multiple different content sections, such as Articles, News, Blogs and Pages. It automatically generates the website navigation and allows you to create an unlimited number of website pages and content. - Can I modify the look and feel of my Waterwheel Website Publisher driven site?
Yes, Waterwheel Website Publisher can be modified to match your design, look and feel. It uses a very flexible template system that's easy to customize and modify. - Can you customize this product for me?

No. All Waterwheel products do not require a dedicated server, and shared hosting environments will suffice. Please see the requirements however, to make sure your web host meets the requirements. - Is the license a life time license? Do I have to pay any additional fees?
The license you purchase is a lifetime license, and you do NOT need to pay license fees at any time after your purchase. There are no additional monthly or yearly fees to use the software. - Does this product require users to download a browser plug-in?
No, all Waterwheel products are completely self contained and require no outside plug-in's or add-ons. - How do I receive the product after my purchase?
Upon purchase, you will receive an instant notification via email with the download details of your product. - Do I need root access to install this?
No, you do not need root access to install any Waterwheel product, just FTP access. - What server requirements do I need to run Waterwheel Website Publisher?
The following are required to run Website Publisher:- Operating System: Linux, Unix, or Windows
- Web Server: Apache Web Server, LigHTTPD, or IIS (with ISAPI Rewrite 3.0 or higher installed)
- Scripting Language: PHP 5.1.3 or above
- Database: MySQL 4.1 or above
- PHP's GD extension with TrueType support (enabled in PHP 5.0 or above)
- PHP's SimpleXML extension (enabled in PHP 5.0 or above)
- PHP's DOMDocument extension (enabled in PHP 5.0 or above)
- PHP's cURL extension or allow_url_fopen support (enabled in PHP 5.0 or above)
- Mod_rewrite for Apache for search engine friendly links, or ISAPI Rewrite 3.0 or above for Microsoft IIS
